'People in Power Should Have to Follow Rules'

For nearly 15 years, a single mother from New Jersey has sought to prove that the federal government has locked away from as many as 39 murders committed in New York by those it paid to work as informants. Angela Clemente, 48, is a self-professed "forensic analyst" who became motivated to scrutinize law enforcement activities after she claims a local prosecutor mishandled the case of her young daughter's sexual abuse. "After that," she said, "I was furious. I decided I was going to hold every law enforcement officer in the country to the highest standards of behavior. I know it's crazy. But I just made the decision that people in power should have to follow rules."
