Bus Plunge Kills 39 in Italy

Thirty-nine people were killed and around 10 injured when a bus carrying 50 adults and children plunged off a viaduct in southern Italy Sunday night. The coach was travelling at speed and hit several cars before crashing over roadside barriers near Monteforte Irpino, east of Naples. That stretch of road had been the scene of repeated accidents, local media reported.
