The ad for Fowler Toyota in Norman, Okla., introduces the character of "Johnny Savings," who signs football helmets, ostensibly for cash, inside a dimly lit motel room. Manziel — known by many fans as simply Johnny Football — was accused this summer of having met with autograph brokers in hotel rooms to autograph memorabilia for money in violation of NCAA amateurism rules.
