New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman (D) is running a statewide gun buyback program exchanging guns for debit cards. The program pays $25 or $50 for rifles and shotguns, $75 for handguns and $100 for assault weapons. There is no limit on the number of firearms an individual can return.
