Soccer Fan Struck by Lightning

A fan attending a Columbus Crew Major League Soccer match in Ohio was struck by lightning in the parking lot and is hospitalized in critical condition. Columbus fire lieutenant Stu Tudor, 54, was hit as a thunderstorm rolled through the area 15 minutes before the scheduled 8 p.m. kickoff. Fan Don Lewis, who took cover in a portable toilet came back outside and saw the man on the ground. Lewis said, "All of a sudden it was just a bomb that went off. I knew it was close. The electricity ran through me." The game was postponed to Sunday.
