Nigeria Gets Into the Meth Business

Nigerian druglords have entered the crystal meth business, setting up large-scale labs to supply local addicts along with international shipments going mostly to South Africa and Asia. "This is the next niche for criminal groups in west Africa because you can easily cook it at home, and you can easily adjust it for supply and demand," said Pierre Lapaque, head of the United Nations office on drugs and crime in west Africa.
