Toddler Killed by Family's 7 Dogs

A toddler who went outside through her Georgia home's doggie door was attacked and killed by her family's seven dogs. Her grandmother told police she heard the pit bulls and pit bull mixes barking and looked outside to see them dragging the girl. Monica Renee Laminack, who would've been 2 on June 1, died before an ambulance arrived. The dogs were a mother and her six offspring, who were born around 16 months ago. Bryan Count Sheriff Clyde Smith said the dogs, who were healthy and well-fed, had no history of violence according to relatives. "They said they have never been aggressive to other people," he said. "Why they got started I have no idea."
