'Doodle Jump' Leaps to Xbox Kinect

Infinite-jumping iOS game Doodle Jump will appear on Microsoft's Xbox Live Arcade for Xbox 360 Friday, utilizing the Kinect motion controller to build on the ideas from the original game.


The original Doodle Jump is a huge mobile success. Originally released in the early days of the App Store, the game was ported to nearly every mobile platform, including Android, Windows Phone, Nokia Symbian, Blackberry and iPad. It has sold more than 15 million copies to date.



In the original mobile game, players led a hopping, green, four-legged creature called the Doodler vertically through a series of infinite platforms, trying to achieve the highest score possible. The Kinect version brings back the popular Doodler, but Doodle Jump for Kinect has three worlds with 10 levels each, and adds the unique spin of boss battles to the end of each world.
