Retired Marine Gen. James Cartwright is under federal investigation for potentially leaking details about the Stuxnet virus to the media, according to a report.
Cartwright recently received a letter from the Department of Justice informing him of the investigation, per NBC News citing "legal sources." The four-star general was vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs from 2007 to 2011, the second-highest position in military brass.
According to an earlier report from the New York Times , Cartwright was the lead figure in the Stuxnet operation (codenamed "Olympic Games"), which began under President George W. Bush and was accelerated by President Barack Obama. Read more...
