Teen Wakes Up in Wolf's Jaws

A 16-year-old awoke at a Minnesota campground early Saturday morning to find a wolf biting his head. The incident occurred shortly after 4:00 a.m. at the West Winnie Campground on Lake Winnibigoshish. During a church outing, Noah Graham was sleeping on a beach outside a tent when a 75-pound male grey wolf clamped its jaws onto his skull and wouldn't let go. "He had to physically pry the jaws of the wolf open ... to get it off of him. And once he got it off of him and he was up, the wolf stood there growling at him," said his father, Scott Graham. The wolf was shot and killed to be tested for rabies.
