Kathryn Minshew launched The Muse — formerly known as The Daily Muse — in 2011 with Alexandra Cavoulacos and Melissa McCreery. It's a destination for career advice ranging from appropriate interview attire to mentoring to negotiating salaries.
The site was originally intended for young women, but officially opened the doors to men in June because the team realized it was impacting a far more broad and diverse crowd than it was originally targeting.
