Black Friday may feel like the granddaddy of holiday shopping, but you may be surprised to learn just 11% of purchases are made the day after Thanksgiving.
Cyber Monday is even less popular; just 6% of holiday shopping takes place then.

December is by far the most popular time, with roughly one-third of Americans reporting to do their shopping then. Six percent of shopping is done before October and 5% is done in January.
