Moner Mohammad Abu-Salha, the 22-year-old man believed to be the first American suicide bomber in Syria, was born in Florida and loved to play basketball. He was an average student who grew up in a well-kept middle-class neighborhood in Sebastian, about 90 minutes from Orlando on the Atlantic coast. "Everybody liked him and the coach kept him on the team because he was all heart," said Holly Gorman, who managed a traveling basketball team he played for as a teen. "He was that kind of player."
