After recalling more than 17 million vehicles so far this year in the United States, General Motors on Monday announced its largest-yet recall of another 7.6 million cars and light trucks spanning 17 years.
“We undertook what I believe is the most comprehensive safety review in the history of our company because nothing is more important than the safety of our customers,” said GM CEO Mary Barra in a statement from the company. “Our customers deserve more than we delivered in these vehicles.
