A home in Wyandotte, Oklahoma, was hit by a 105 howitzer artillery shell -- 14.5 inches long and 3.5 inches across -- fired at the Oklahoma Full Auto Shoot and Trade Show last weekend, three miles away. A couple were both home at the time, but fortunately unhurt. The gun range owner claimed the weapon was fired safely. "For that thing to rise and go far northwest of the range, it's just unheard of," said Mike Friend, owner of Fast Machine Gun Shoot.
