Maine School Teacher Sent Home for Visiting Dallas

An elementary school in Maine has sent one of its teachers home for 21 days paid leave over Ebola concerns because she visited Dallas. There is no evidence the Strong Elementary School teacher was in contact with anyone who may have been exposed to the disease when she traveled to the city for a conference, but the school district said it took the move because of concerns from parents. Strong is in a rural district north of Farmington. "At this time, we have no information to suggest that this staff member has been in contact with anyone who has been exposed to Ebola," the school district wrote on its website.
