Darwin, a Japanese Macaque who was found wandering a Toronto IKEA in 2012, needs the Internet's help to buy him a new home
The Story Book Farm Primate Sanctuary, which originally took in the meme-worthy monkey after his shopping excursion, launched an Indiegogo campaign earlier this week to raise funds to purchase a larger property for Darwin and 21 of his primate friends
The campaign hopes to raise $490,000 CAD before Dec. 31, 2014 to relocate the 22 monkeys to a new habitat. $250,000 alone of the funds raised will be for a down payment. Read more...
