Wisconsin GOP Pol Gets Jail for Sexual Assault

A Wisconsin state lawmaker accused of shoving a woman into a car and groping her following a Republican event has been sentenced to five months in jail for sexual assault, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. State Rep. Bill Kramer, 49, (R-Waukesha) was given five months in jail, as part of a three year probation sentence, after pleading no contest last month to reduced charges of fourth-degree sexual assault. Although he will not have to register as a sex offender, Kramer has been ordered by Judge Neal Nettesheim to undergo a sex offender and alcohol assessment and complete any required treatment. Kramer has also been instructed to have no contact with his victim.
