A Morton Salt plant in downtown Chicago partially collapsed on Tuesday, spilling a massive pile of salt onto cars parked at a nearby Acura dealership.
The Chicago Fire Department's office of news affairs confirmed that no injuries had been reported. The spill prompted the Fire Department to shut down traffic on the street in front of the building at Elston and Potomac for a short time while emergency personnel were on the scene, WGN News reported.
