We appear to be losing the battle to either contain or make a significant dent in the rising number of coronavirus cases now threatening many nations of the world. It is our assessment; national healthcare systems are both inadequately prepared or equipped to handle the surging number of COVID-19 cases that require critical and supportive care. If more austere quarantine measures aren’t enacted promptly and lock-downs aren’t strictly enforced by authorities – we will soon be witnessing 100,000 people dying from this every day.
